  • What devices can I use for my virtual urgent care visit?

    You’ll need a tablet, laptop/computer, or mobile device with a good internet connection, camera and microphone. We also encourage testing your setup in advance of your virtual visit.

  • Is my insurance accepted?

    Depending on your insurance plan, you may be able to submit a claim to your insurance and be reimbursed for this service. If you do not see your insurance listed in our drop-down menu when registering, please check with your insurance carrier. We also accept all Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Health Spending Account (HSA) cards.

  • When can I access a virtual visit?

    You can use this service 24/7, 365 days a year.

  • Who will be providing my care and what are their credentials?

    You will receive care from a CITYMD physician or a licensed CITYMD nurse practitioner or physician assistant. In addition, you have the option of selecting a non-CITYMD physician when a CITYMD provider is not available.

  • What if I need follow-up care?

    CITYMD's Aftercare team will ensure that you have the right information for any follow-up care necessary after your virtual visit or if you need to be seen immediately in-person.

  • Can I get a prescription as part of my virtual visit?

    Yes, our providers can provide a prescription in accordance with federal and state laws and when medically appropriate. Like an in-person visit, the prescription will be sent to your preferred pharmacy.

  • Who is eligible for virtual urgent care on the My Summit Health app?

    Anyone 18 or older who creates an account in the My Summit Health app can initiate a virtual urgent care visit. Only the account holder can receive virtual urgent care. Minors, dependents, guests and individuals without their own account are not eligible to receive virtual urgent care.  

  • Do you offer interpreter services?
